Lots of time on the bus only 50 mins snowmobiling and no mention of an ice cave at all? The actual snowmobiling and views were amazing but a lot of money for 50 mins as paid £500. Very disappointed that there was no mention of ice cave or a visit so if someone could explain why this was as I was really looking forward to that - thank you

Didn’t get taken to ice cave as we were told on the day it had collapsed. Yet I’m still seeing it advertised. We were not offered to be taken anywhere else in its place. The ice caves was what I really wanted to experience and the snow mobile was just extra. Couldn’t fault the snow mobiling but disappointed overall about trip

The guide on the journey to the Glacier was fantastic very knowledgeable and also the guide for the snowmobile experience. Very good trip; the only criticism is the actual snowmobile part could be a bit longer and the group should be split into two; novice and intermediate as we would have liked to go a bit quicker as it’s easier to handle them with a bit more pace and you can’t do this in a line behind slower riders.

Driver tried to collect us 20 mins earlier than stated ( 0810 instead of between 0830 and 0900). Driver was extremely safe at driving in the snowy road conditions but very slow we were over taken by several vehicles on the way to the snowmobiling. Snowmobiling due to visibility didn't get to see the ice cave. Visibility was poor. Had we have got there earlier maybe we would have had better visibility. Drive back took even longer than going.

Our truck guide was fantastic and the guides at the snowmobile station were ok. The tuition on the snow mobile was ok but it would have helped if they had said more speed is better for control. Also three other snow mobiles crashed on our tour due to travelling too close to each other - I ride a motorbike and know to stay well away from the rider in front this should have been said at the briefing

TUI Into Langjökull Glacier

Iceland is famous for its glaciers but until recently, what lies underneath the Langjokull glacier had been a mystery. In 2010, the first manmade Glacier Ice Cave was carved to take people inside the heart of this remote glacier ice cap. What's more, you'll also visit the Hraunfossar Waterfall. After arriving at Husafell base, you'll climb onto a rugged snow truck to start your ascent to the ice cave, exploring the rugged glacial landscape along the way. An experienced guide will lead the way inside, where you'll see the magnificent blue ice buried deep beneath the surface that stays at a constant temperature of 0°.All this is combined with stunning waterfalls and panoramic views of the mountains as you make your way north to the glacier. And on our return, you might – with luck – catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights dancing through the sky.
