La Fira de Sant Miquel – or St Michael's Fair – is an annual celebration in many parts of Spain, and on this tour, you'll head to the rural town of Benifato to see how they mark the event. On top of that, you'll also visit the village of Guadalest.Nestled in the mountains, Benifato is a quintessential Valencian village, with no more than a few hundred inhabitants. Wander the village's dozen or so streets, which are home to eight museums, and pass through tunnels carved into the rock. As you weave up the cobbled lanes towards the top of the ridge, the views over the valley just get better and better.
