What to expect

Giddy up for a day of rip-roaring fun at Rancho Texas Park. This Wild West-themed fun park is 60,000 square metres of desert and gardens bristling with adventure. There's waterslides and kayaking, along with a whole herd of shows guaranteed to keep your little cowboys and cowgirls grinning from ear to ear. And with round-trip transfers and lunch thrown in, you'll have free rein to enjoy the park without hassle.

After pick up, you'll head straight to Rancho Texas, avoiding the queues with exclusive fast-track entry. Then, it's up to you how you spend the day. Mosey on down to the animal park, where you can spot white tigers, majestic lynxes, sleepy iguanas and much more. There's also a petting farm, a medicine man's cave and an Indian Village where the kids can play in wigwams, paddle kayaks and even pan for gold at a working wooden waterwheel.

Next, you'll take a look at the coastal scenery during a walk along Playa Montana Bermeja, where black volcanic sand meets the Atlantic Ocean. Then, swing by Bodega Finca Mota Artesanal in Conil, a charming, family-run winery offering more than just a taste. The winery is steeped in a deep love for tradition, agriculture, and the sea. The owners transformed their home into a living museum full of vintage objects and nostalgic touches that take you back in time. As Carlos puts it, “it's not just about sipping wine – it's about an immersive atmosphere where every detail from the décor to the story feels like stepping into a family archive, and where wine is made by hand with minimal intervention.” Finally, you'll wrap up your tour at Volcan del Cuervo, a volcanic crater in the middle of La Geria – AKA wine country. You'll stop by Lago Verde, a green lagoon in an old volcano crater that's coloured by the algae in the water. During your free time in El Golfo, you can explore the town's plentiful oceanfront restaurants at your own pace. While food isn't included in this part of the trip, local favourites such as grilled fish and papas arrugadas, AKA wrinkled potatoes, are well worth trying. This Canarian specialty is boiled in heavily salted water until the skin wrinkles and forms a salty crust, typically served with a red or green mojo sauce.Finally, you'll visit La Geria, Lanzarote's wine region, known for its unique production methods.
